The VISTA member will implement all aspects of volunteer management including creating policies, procedures for training, recruitment and orientation as well as the implementation of a database that incorporates the volunteer function of the organization. The successful applicant needs to understand database functionality, but more importantly can relate to people within the organization. Change management skills/experience are a huge plus. Major milestones of the project are to gather feedback and input from current volunteers to help inform and design new volunteer management systems and generate volunteer buy-in. And assist ICM with integrating volunteer data into new database system and design new procedures around volunteer data management.
